Public’s Misuse of Research Tool for Indoor Mold Cleanup

 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (E.P.A.) developed an Environmental Relative Moldiness Index (E.R.M.I.) intended for research only as a way to objectively describe the mold burden inside one’s residence. There have been complaints about firms using this method despite the E.P.A. having not validated the tool for public use.
