Peter Sierck, PresidentWELCOME
Our mission at Environmental Testing & Technology (ET&T) is to create and maintain healthy indoor environments. We are pioneers and leaders in the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) industry and have been serving the Southern California community since 1986. EMF Surveys and RF testing are vital as well. We have worked for thousands of corporations, business owners and management companies, law firms, insurance carriers, cities, governmental agencies and private individuals from San Diego to the Bering Sea.

LEED and IAQ Testing

As part of the completion process, LEED certification requires flushing of the building’s air volume or substitute documentation of acceptable IAQ conditions through baseline air quality testing. Flushing or air testing are performed after completion of construction and prior to occupancy. Testing is conducted according to protocols consistent with the United States EPA Compendium of Methods for the Determination of Air Pollutants in Indoor Air.

ET&T can provide you with independent, third-party air quality testing to help your building project meet LEED Certification requirements.  LEED is the nationally recognized symbol demonstrating that a building is environmentally responsible, profitable and a healthy place to live and work.

There are both environmental and financial benefits to earning LEED certification:

  • Lower operating costs and increased asset value
  • Reduce waste sent to landfills
  • Conserve energy and water
  • Healthier and safer for occupants
  • Reduce greenhouse gas emissions
  • Qualify for tax rebates, zoning allowances and other incentives in hundreds of cities
  • Demonstrate an owner's commitment to environmental stewardship and social responsibility

Call ET&T with your project specifics such as site location, square footage, the number of air handling units, time frame and any complications.

OdaLog: Sewer Gas Odors?

Hydrogen sulfide is produced during organic decomposition. The OdaLog H2S monitor and data logger was designed specifically to address environmental odor control concerns associated with urban sewer systems. The OdaLog has been quickly recognized as the most advanced gas logging device with the lowest detection limit.

ET&T can provide you with instrumentation to measure hydrogen sulfide (H2S) exposure levels of 10 parts per billion (ppb). The average human odor detection threshold for hydrogen sulfide is referenced as 15 parts per billions (ppb).

Call ET&T with you project specifics to start your hydrogen sulfide (H2S) monitoring and data logging right now. These odors are elusive and sources are difficult to identify. We can help.
