One Day Exam Prep Classes
ET&T now provides a 1-day preparatory class for professionals taking the IAQ Council’s board certification exam. Our instructors have taught these classes for many years and are intimately familiar with the subject materials and test references. Prep classes are offered for the following certifications:

Applied Microbial
Remediation Technician (AMRT/S)
Our mold and sewage backflow remediation technician class includes a hands-on section and the exam for IICRC certification. The course provides the necessary training to conduct or evaluate remediation projects. Course prerequisite is the attendance of a water damage restoration technician (WRT) class. This AMRT class also qualifies for IICRC continuous education credits (CEC).
Prerequisites: IICRC's water damage restoration technician (WRT) class with exam prior to attending the AMRT course.

EMF,RF and Microwave Surveys
Testing, Assessment and Mitigation of Electromagnetic Fields
This 1-day workshop provides an overview of the frequency spectrum, physics of electromagnetic fields, common external and internal sources including: power lines, building wiring systems, transformers, appliances, cell phones, wireless local area networks, etc. We will present testing instruments and methods; data evaluation criteria and mitigation techniques. Mock EMF sources will be created and testing equipment will be utilized to show real life situations. This class is designed as an interactive workshop.

This 4-hour training course was developed for professionals associated with commercial, institutional and residential buildings. Many insurance carriers are now requiring from their customers and agents, a mold awareness training to renew existing insurance policies.

Mold Prevention in the Construction Industry
This 4-hour seminar is designed for the building, construction and maintenance industry. It will enable construction supervisors and customer service personnel to identify and prevent mold problems, especially as they relate to the construction industry. The course provides the components for a proactive mold awareness and management program. Case histories with solutions and hands-on sessions with moisture meters are part of the curriculum.
Who should attend: Construction managers and planners, superintendents and customer service representatives, architects, insurance brokers, plumbers and other related trades.

OSHA Health & Safety
This 2-day course provides the necessary OSHA health and safety training for the construction industry. OSHA Construction Industry Regulations apply to all microbial remediation projects and are often overlooked by contractors.
Completion of the health and safety course is a requirement for the AMRT/S certification through the IICRC.
You will receive your OSHA 10-hour Health and Safety Card upon completion of the course.

Chemical Air & Dust Sampling
AmIAQCouncil Approved Course: 7 Re-certification Credits.
The workshop is designed to provide an overview of the available air sampling methods for Indoor Air Quality parameter such as volatile organic compounds, formaldehyde, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, methane, hydrogen sulfide, combustion gases, dust, etc. It will include collection techniques for dust sampling and data interpretation for phthalates, pesticides, allergens and so on. Actual sampling equipment and media, calibration equipment and methods will be presented. The class is designed as an interactive workshop to provide real life situations to the students and to discuss questions and answers.
